Loot Wear October 2018 Review + Unboxing

Loot Crate is a must-have subscription box for geeks and gamers of any fanbase! They offer a huge variety of boxes to get your fix of exclusive collectibles, gear, and/or apparel every month. For one, they have crates tailored to superfans of a particular game, movie series, or TV show (such as Harry Potter, Deadpool, Star Trek, Fallout, and so on). They also offer subscriptions that mix up the theme every month!
Since I’ve tried out a couple of the regular Loot Crate boxes, I decided to switch to a Loot Wear subscription last month. I chose the “wearables” plan that costs $17.99 per month and provides one clothing item every month. This could be a sweatshirt, shirt, pants, accessories, or even shoes! If you don’t like surprises as I do, they show a preview of the theme and what the item will be on their website (November’s previews are shown below).
They also offer options for a T-shirt, underwear, socks, and other specific apparel items or even bundles. I chose the wearables because I love mixing up the products I receive and being surprised. Additionally, their original Loot Crate subscription comes with a T-shirt every month, as well as a few collectibles, if you’re interested in both clothes and collectibles. It’s fairly inexpensive as well ($19.99 + around $5 shipping).
This Loot Wear review shares the item I got this month, savings opportunities, and my overall thoughts about the subscription!
Shipping + Unboxing
My October shipment arrived in a much more timely manner than the September shipment did. I got it nearly two weeks before Halloween, which is actually early because it’s estimated to come between the 20th and 28th of the month. Unfortunately, Loot Crate shipping can be unpredictable. This isn’t a big deal to me, though—I’ve always successfully received my products.
This month’s item was shipped in another mailer bag that had a black and orange design—right on time for Halloween. Inside, I found a Ghost Rider hooded T-shirt! It also came with a small booklet about this month’s theme.
Ghost Rider Hooded T-Shirt
Although last month’s item was a sweatshirt, I was glad to receive another top. This one is a black Ghost Rider T-shirt with a hood. It has a Ghost Rider logo on the front and a large design on the back. This is actually the perfect shirt for the weather where I live right now—it’s still pretty warm outside, but it will randomly rain. It’s also comfy and fit perfectly.
I’ve liked the Loot Crate clothes so far because they don’t look super nerdy or like you’re promoting the show. It looks like a design that would be on a regular top!
Savings Opportunities
Loot Crate offers plenty of opportunities to save money on your subscription. Since their coupons and deals are constantly changing, it can be hard to keep up. Because of this, I’ve listed all the Loot Crate coupon codes for November. These just include coupons for subscriptions, but they often have sales in their regular shop as well!
