Who doesn’t love candy? If you do, you might be excited to hear about Candy Club – a subscription box services that send delicious boxes full of candy every month! They bring the most popular, best-loved sweets from all around the world right to your doorstep. My monthly Candy Club reviews will share the candy I receive in my box, how I liked them, my thoughts on whether the subscription is worth it, as well as let you know about any coupons and deals I come across. This first article will share my experience ordering my first Candy Club box and what came inside!

First Impressions

The Candy Club website is very colorful and cute. They provide information about their plans, candies, how it works, and what’s inside their boxes on the homepage. Their social media links are at the bottom left corner of the website, as well as links to their blog, FAQ, the Candy Club phone number, and more.

The steps to purchase your subscription are pretty straightforward. All you have to do is choose which plan length you’d like, choose any upgrades you’d like to add, fill out shipping information, and then fill out your payment information. You can use any major credit or debit card as a payment method, and PayPal is an option as well.

As soon as you complete your purchase, you’ll be prompted to take a Candy Club quiz that helps pick candies best fit for your tastes. Although this will be used for recommending candies for you each month, you will still be able to choose whichever sweets you’d like to receive.

Among the vast selection of candy they offer, you will find chocolate, gummies, licorice, jelly beans, and more! They also provide candy that is a little more health-conscious, such as non-GMO, candy sweetened with fruit juice, and more. That said, there is something for everyone! You can view the entire list of candy they offer on their website even before you create your account. This is convenient if you’re unsure if you’ll be signing up for the subscription or not.

Candy Club Review – 2021 Pricing & Coupon Policies

Their monthly boxes come with three featured candies and a candy splash (which is a bunch of single candies spread out all around the box). The month-to-month plan costs $39.99 per month. You could also subscribe to a 6-month plan for a discounted $34.99 per month or even the annual subscription for $29.99 per month.

Regardless of the plan you choose, all of them are paid up front. Depending on your location, shipping is an additional cost as well. They also have upgrade options if you want more candy. You could upgrade to six featured candies for an additional $14.99 each month.

The monthly price seems a bit expensive for me. However, a lot of Candy Club reviews state that the quality of candy is worth the price you pay. Plus, I found that they have a satisfaction guarantee or your money back promise. This means they’ll refund your box if you’re unsatisfied for any reason, which is fantastic customer service and makes me more optimistic about trying it out.

Moreover, I was able to redeem a Candy Club coupon that granted $15 off my first order. It was very easy to find because it was advertised on Google, and the link lead right to their webpage.

With a little more research, I found an even better deal for $20 off your first month by providing the promo code ‘REV20’ at checkout. 

While all of these coupons promised great discounts, it would be awesome if there was a free trial like a lot of other subscription boxes have. They could even offer a mini version of their monthly box so that people can try it out before dropping over $40 on it. Nevertheless, as coupons are constantly changing, I’ll make sure to add the ones I recently come across in my monthly reviews.

How to Cancel Candy Club

As the case is with the majority of subscription box services, you can cancel your subscription anytime. Note, however, that you need to cancel at least two days before your billing date to ensure you won’t be billed for your upcoming box.

All you have to do to cancel is contact the Candy Club customer service team via chat through their website or send an email to customerservice@candyclub.com. Their operating hours are between 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time (Monday through Friday). You can also find their phone number on the official website if your question is too urgent to be resolved through chat or email.

First Candy Club Unboxing

Shipping + Packaging

My first order was easy to place, and I was able to get $20 off with the coupon I mentioned previously. Unfortunately, the shipping wasn’t as easy. I had a lot of difficulties with my first Candy Club package. It was held by the post office because they said the box was damaged. I had to wait a week for it to get sent back to Candy Club, then message their customer support about it and get a replacement. It worked out in the end though, and I finally got my package.

Upon unboxing, I discovered three large packages of candy as well as a bunch of mini, individually packaged candies scattered around! The inside was adorable and fun to open. I can’t even imagine how exciting this would be to open as a kid.

The packages of candy seemed small at first, but once I started eating them, I realized they’re larger than they look and would last me at least a month.

The majority of candies I got were sour flavors. When you subscribe, they ask if you prefer chocolate/sweets or sour candies (I chose sours). You can also pick and choose what you want, but I like surprises. I was glad to see that they include a nutritional facts sheet with lists of ingredients for each type of candy that doesn’t have the information on its bag.

Albanese Red & Blue Raspberry Gummies

Gummies haven’t always been my top choice of candy, but they’ve grown on me. These ones tasted just like gummy bears. I enjoyed the raspberry flavors and the fun berry design of the gummies.

Gustaf’s Rainbow Laces

These were awesome! I liked them a bit more than the previous gummies. The various different flavors kept me on my toes, and it was fun to eat them because of their shape. I would’ve loved these as a kid.

Marich Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels

Although I chose the sour candies, these chocolates were my favorite. To be honest, chocolate is my ultimate favorite type of candy. I could scarf down an entire bag in one day! Because of this, I chose sour candies. They last me much longer, and I enjoy them as well (for the most part). I loved that these weren’t overly sweet and I could taste a bit of the yummy, dark chocolate bitterness.

Andre Prost Zotz

Finally, I got a ton of different flavored Zotz in my box! There were orange, grape, strawberry, blue raspberry, and watermelon. My favorite flavor was watermelon. They’re fun to eat because of the fizzy, slightly sour flavor inside.
